About our Riverside masonry and concrete company
We're a Riverside masonry contractor for block and brick walls, chimneys, pavers, stonework and tired mortar, and we build for the years after the photos are taken.
From commercial block to Riverside homes
I spent years laying block and brick for a big commercial outfit, where the work got built to the drawings and checked by an inspector who didn't care how nice the face looked. In 2017 I started this company in Riverside to bring those habits home. We've become known for walls that stay put and old brick joints done right, which sounds boring until you've watched a wall start to lean.
Commercial work taught me that what's behind the face matters most, and I haven't found a house yet where that stopped being true. We're based in Riverside and work here and in the cities around it, and the calls look a lot alike: block walls that lean, chimneys losing their joints and mortar that's quietly turned back into sand. If your city isn't on our list, call and ask.
What working with our masonry crew is like
From the first look at your wall to the last swept joint, here's what you can expect when we take on a masonry job at your house.
Care you won't see
The footing, steel, mortar and drainage get as much care as the face you'll look at every day, because the buried parts decide whether the work lasts.
The owner comes out
I look at your job myself and write the estimate, so it spells out what we'll build and how we'll build it. A lead mason runs the crew on site.
Straight talk on repairs
If a repair can wait, we'll tell you so, because we'd rather keep your trust than sell you a bigger job than your house needs.
Ask us how your job gets done
The City of Riverside requires a business license for companies working in the city, and when your job needs a permit, we pull it and set up the inspections. Ask us about either, or about our insurance, before we start.
