Using this website means you accept these terms

These terms cover your use of the Keystone Riverside Concrete and Masonry website and any estimate or service you request through it. By browsing the site, calling us or sending the contact form, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Throughout this page, "we", "us" and "our" mean Keystone Riverside Concrete and Masonry, and "you" means the person using the site or asking for our services. You can go back to the home page at any time to see everything we do.

What we do and what the site is for

We're a masonry contractor in Riverside, CA. We also do concrete work, and we serve Riverside and the cities around it. Our work includes foundation repair, chimney and brick repair, tuckpointing, retaining walls, block walls, pavers, walkways, stone veneer, fireplaces and outdoor kitchen masonry.

The service pages explain how these jobs usually go and what tends to affect them. That's general information, not advice about your house. Every property is different, so your scope, timing and price are set only after we've looked at the job in person. You can read more about our crew on the about page.

Estimates and pricing

We give free quotes on site, and asking for one doesn't obligate you to hire us. A quote covers the work we can see and describe at the time we visit, so it's based on what we know before the job is open.

Masonry and foundation work can turn up hidden problems once we start, like damaged footings, rotted framing behind veneer, buried utilities or poor soil. If that happens, we'll stop, show you what we found and explain the options. Extra work isn't done without your approval, and any change in price is agreed in writing before we go ahead.

Any figures on this website are general and are not an offer or a quote. Your written estimate or contract is what sets the price for your job.

Scheduling, delays and cancellation

We'll agree on a start date with you once the job is approved, and we'll keep you posted if anything changes. Some things are outside our control, so weather, curing time for concrete and mortar, material delays, permit or inspection timing, and site conditions can push the schedule back. We aren't responsible for delays caused by those things, but we'll tell you as soon as we know.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please call us at (951) 462-2880 as early as you can. Your written contract explains what happens to any deposit, any materials already ordered and any work already done. California gives homeowners certain cancellation rights on home improvement contracts, and nothing in these terms takes those rights away.

Payment terms

The amount due, any deposit and the payment schedule are set out in your written contract, and they'll follow California law for home improvement work. Final payment is due when the work described in the contract is complete, unless the contract says otherwise.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's settled. Materials and work stay subject to the lien rights California law gives contractors until the job is paid in full.

Our workmanship and warranty limits

We're licensed and fully insured, and we stand behind our work with a satisfaction guarantee on every job. If something about our workmanship isn't right, call us and we'll come back to look at it and make it right.

That guarantee covers the work we did. It doesn't cover damage from things outside our control, such as soil movement, earthquakes, flooding, tree roots, heavy vehicles, other contractors' work, changes you or someone else makes later, or normal wear. Natural materials like stone and brick vary in color and texture, and small hairline cracks in concrete and mortar are normal as they cure, so those aren't defects. Any manufacturer warranty on materials comes from the manufacturer, not from us.

The website itself is provided as it is. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise that every page is complete, current or free of errors.

Limits on our liability

As far as California law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or follow-on losses from using this website or relying on the general information on it. That includes lost time, lost income or decisions made without an on-site estimate.

For work we perform, our liability is limited to what your written contract and California law provide. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for our own negligence or for injury we cause.

If we disagree about something

Most problems get sorted out with a phone call, so please talk to us first. Call (951) 462-2880 or reach us through the contact page and tell us what's wrong, and we'll work with you in good faith to fix it.

If we can't settle it that way, either of us may take the matter to a court with jurisdiction in Riverside County, California, unless your written contract sets out a different process. You also keep any right you have to file a complaint with the state.

California law applies

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of California. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is the one that applies when you use the site. If you've signed a contract with us, the terms in that contract apply to your job even if this page changes later.

If you have a question about any of this, the quickest way to get an answer is to call us or send a message through the contact page.
